Our Team -Our Dream
begins its journey with the annual Cubs Convention, travels to
Arizona where hope is renewed in the fresh spring breeze, continues
into the baseball season to meet the Cubs players along with the
die-hard fans of Wrigleyville, and dances through the decades
of Cubs history and legends.
More than 300 one-of-a-kind photographs depict the Cubs fans'
optimism, while a heartening narrative waxes romantic as it explores
the reasons why Cubs fans love their team and hold onto their
dream of a World Series titleeven if it takes forever.

Photojournalist Tammy Lechner, noted as a "visual chronicler" of the lifestyle and culture of baseball, began her 15-year journey to document Cubs fans in January 1993. She covered professional sports during her years on staff with the [Louisville] Courier-Journal and the Los Angeles Times. Lechner also covered major league baseball for the Associated Press and USA Today Baseball Weekly. A native of New York, she is a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan who resides in Laguna Beach, California

Author Tammy Lechner will sell and sign copies of OUR TEAM-OUR DREAM for six dates at the infamous Wrigleyville tavern located across from the Bleacher Gate of Wrigley Field beginning Sunday May 11 through Thursday May 15 and again on Sunday May 18. Signing events will begin pre-game to Cubs games held on these dates, and continue through each game's 8th inning.
